• The week in Nanning was relaxing. It was nice having personal space. The density of Hong Kong is exciting, but can be stifling at times.
• Lao You Fen is addictive.
• The only white people I saw was at Ikea.
• Two teenaged boys said “Hello” to me at the night market. They were so excited to be speaking with a foreigner. It was cool to speak to randoms again, like how we do in America sometimes. Camaraderie is nice.
• I made 2 IG Reels. It was fun, but now I don’t want to make any IG Reels ever again. I don’t know how Karen constantly pumps out content for other people. Forget “social media” - I want to make “private media” a thing again.
• Bullet trains are cool.
